New Delhi: Days after British foreign secretary David Milibandís comments on Kashmir created a diplomatic storm and angered New Delhi, former J&K chief minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed has said the issue would continue to attract global attention 'till its final settlement'. 'Comments on Kashmir and the need for its resolution are inevitable in view of the geopolitical conditions in the region,' he said. 'Instead of ruffling feathers, such comments must serve as a reminder of the inevitability of an amicable settlement.' Mufti, however, maintained that India, Pakistan and the people of J&K have to ultimately resolve the issue.
