Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Forum Chairman Javaid Ahmed Mir Tuesday said Kashmir issue is not the part of international terror network but a dispute pending from the past six decades. According to the statement issued here Mir addressed a gathering of party members and said: “Kashmir issue is pending from the past 60 years while the terrorism discourse is only a decade old.” Mir stressed that Kashmir issue must be resolved through dialogue between India, Pakistan and separatist leadership of Kashmir. Mir said that the International community during 1988 to 1995 appealed us to help for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue. “We started peaceful movement after that and separatists’ leadership is striving for it but India is continuing to perpetrate human rights violations. Demilitarization is the only solution to this problem,” said Mir.
