Beijing: In yet another development, China has underlined the need and asked Islamabad and New Delhi to seek a negotiated settlement to the long standing Kashmir dispute. During the regular press briefing, the spokesman of China’s foreign office reiterated China’s resolve to continue issuing stapled visas to Kashmiris without bringing any change in the policy in this regard. He said that due to its historical nature, the Kashmir dispute could not be put into cold storage and it should be settled through dialogue. He said that Pakistan and India should explore ways and venues to resolve the Kashmir dispute peacefully, which would arrest peace and tranquility in the region.
