BSF Warns Pakistan Rangers Of ‘counter-action’

Jammu: Taking a tough stand on the continuous ceasefire violation and infiltration attempts from across the border, the Border Security Force on Wednesday warned Pakistan Rangers of “counter-action.” At a commandant-level meeting at a forward border outpost, the BSF registered a strong protest over the fifth incident of firing and infiltration attempt in Samba district. “A flag meeting was held with Pakistan Rangers in the Ramgarh forward belt today [Wednesday] in connection with Tuesday’s cross-border firing and infiltration bid. We registered a strong protest,” G.S. Sagwan, Deputy Inspector-General, BSF Frontier Jammu.
