Malik Returns After ‘fruitful’ Pak Visit14 August 2011
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chief, Muhammad Yasin Malik returned to valley on Monday after a month long visit to Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. During his visit, Malik met many dignitaries including Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabani Khar, leader of Pakistan Muslim League, Nawaz Sharief , leader of Muslim (Q) Chowdary Shujaat Hassian and others and apprised them about the latest situation in Kashmir. According to party spokesman, after arriving in Pakistan on July 8, Malik also met many intellectuals, civil society members besides attending many seminars and conferences to discuss and debate Kashmir issue. “In a significant development, Malik struck a historic merger with Ammanullah Khan group of JKLF and is now looking forward to work unanimously for Kashmir cause,” the spokesman added.
