Jammu: Seven candidates including a girl, from Jammu and Kashmir have cracked the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) exam, the result of which was declared by the Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi this afternoon. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat from Handwara in Kashmir, presently IFS officer in Lucknow has ranked 10th in the IAS examination. He had also qualified KAS examination earlier. After completion of his BVSc degree from SKUAST Jammu, Bilal was been trying for IAS since 2010 and this was his third attempt. Zaffar Iqbal, son of Mohd Iqbal and Zatoon Begum from Jarran Wali Gali, in Mendhar Sub Division of Poonch attained rank 39. Zaffar, a B Tech (Civil) from NIT Hamirpur (HP), is presently working as Assistant Engineer in PWD department in J&K. He did his schooling from local Govt School up to 5th standard and then joined JNV Surankote and studied there up to 12th. Ayushi Sudan, daughter of Dr Harbans Lal Sudan (Retd) and Neeru Sharma (Govt teacher), hailing from Sunderbani and at presently at Ploura in Jammu has ranked 65 th in the list. She is MSc in Physics and graduated from St Stephens College, Delhi. She is the product of KC Public School, Jammu. Mohnish Digra, son of Dr Naseeb Chand Digra (GMC Jammu) and Sunita Digra, Lecturer in Chemistry, hailing from Janipur Colony ( Main Stop), Jammu, has secured 776 rank. He is alumnus of KC Public School Jammu and Indira Gandhi Govt Dental College, Jammu. Danish Agastam, son of Dr Chander Parkash, hailing from Ramnagar and at present Udhampur, has secured 814 rank in Civil Services. He is B. Tech from Punjab University Chandigarh. He did his Matric from Little Flower School and 12 th from KV- I Udhampur. Inayat Ali from village Sabjian in Darhal tehsil of district Rajouri has grabbed 886th rank while Sahil, son of retired Naib Tehsildar -Gian Chand, hailing from Gran Morh, Reasi has secured 917th rank in the Civil Services exams.
