Srinagar: Hours after the Qaeda announcement, Hizbul Mujahedin chief Syed Salahuddin said, 'there is no scope or room for any international organisations like Daesh (Islamic State) and Al Qaeda, we don't need them nor is there any necessity for their presence'. Salahudin, who also heads militant combine, UJC said: 'We fight for azadi and Islam. We denounce those who are creating hurdles and misguide people in the name of sharia and sahadat.'Salahuddin said groups like Al- Qaeda and Daesh were harming the Kashmir 'freedom movement' by aligning it with global terrorism. Lashkar-e-Taiba Thursday said that India is trying to label the legitimate freedom struggle of Kashmir as terrorism by promoting terror groups like Al-Qaeda and ISIS in the Valley. 'We would like to inform the masses that the militant groups, with their mutual understanding and unity, are fighting against Indian forces. On the other hand, groups such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS are being brought up to label the legitimate freedom struggle as terrorism. Al-Qaeda and ISIS thrive on Takfeer. All they have done has just greatly affected the Muslims and brought upon them the injustice, brutality and oppression. This conspiracy is far more dangerous than that of India's,' Mehmood Shah, the LeT Chief said in a statement carried by CNS news agency. As per the statement, Mehmood Shah said that India has lost its war in Kashmir. 'The Indian conspiracies are being foiled ever since the locals and Hurriyat leaders forged unity amongst themselves. India is trying to break this alliance but by the grace of God, we will not let it happen at any cost,' he said.
