Militants Fear Being Killed After Sharing Location Details With Their Pakistani Handlers28 October 2017
Jammu: Militants operating in Kashmir Valley seem to be suspicious about their Pakistani handlers. They suspect that their Pakistani handlers, particularly, those associated with Jamat-e-Islami may have a role in the number of terrorists being killed in the Valley in action by the security forces. An audio clip is doing rounds in the state claiming that the terrorists operating in the Kashmir Valley are being killed after they share their pin-pointed location details with their Pakistani handlers. The audio clip is a recorded conversation purportedly between slain Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Abu Dujana and rebel Hizbul Mujahideen commander Zakir Musa. There are reports suggesting the backbone of militancy has been broken by the combined efforts of the Army, the Jammu and Kashmir police and para-military forces in the Valley. The cordon and search operations have yielded commendable results in Kashmir Valley in terms of neutralising terrorists trained and sponsored by Pakistan. The morale of the terrorists is said to be very low in the view of operations by the security forces. The terrorists operating in Kashmir Valley are totally disgusted with the Pakistani agencies. In the 7.55-minute, slain self-styled LeT commander Abu Dujana is heard telling Zakir Musa 'not to trust Pakistani handlers'. Before he was killed, Abu Dujana advised Zakir Musa not to share any information with handlers sitting across the borders about the locations of militants and planned terror operations. Abu Dujana claimed that Pakistani handlers insist on giving them pin-point locations but later on, the militants are killed in the Valley. 'Whenever people sitting across the border asked them (the terrorists) their pin-point locations, the Army and security forces neutralised them in operations,' the audio clip purportedly says. Abu Dujana, in audio tape, tells Zakir Musa that some people in Jamat-e-Islami sitting across the border are instrumental in their killings.
