NIA carries raids at multiple locations in KashmirSrinagar 09 Mar: The National Investigation Agency on
Wednesday carried out raids at multiple locations in the Kashmir Valley,
official sources said here. Official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that NIA carried raids in several location in north and south Kashmir districts. They said that raids were being carried out at Shopian, Pulwama and Pattan areas of the Valley.
PDP sarpanch shot dead in Srinagars KhonmohSrinagar 09 Mar: Suspected militants on
Wednesday evening shot dead a sarpanch affiliated with Peoples
Democratic Party in Khonmoh area of Srinagar. Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the sarpanch identified as Sameer Ahmad was shot dead today evening. They said that Sameer was affiliated with PDP and was a sarpanch from Khonmoh-C block of Srinagar.

eight-year-old minor boy of Awoora area of Kupwara. The AAC, in a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), on

Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq while expressing
heartfelt condolence and solidarity with the bereaved said the
occurrence of such shameful and inhuman incidents on the land of saints
and religious leaders like Kashmir is not only extremely painful but
also a tragedy that embarrasses the entire Kashmiri society. The statement reads that although according to the media, the
brutal assassination of innocent Talib Hussain is being termed as
personal enmity and resentment between the two families, it is a moment
of reflection and eye-opening tragedy for the entire valley as to how
far the society as a whole has reached today.
JK H&ME team meets NHM officials to discuss 2022-24 planNew Delhi 09 Mar: A high level team of Health and Medical Education
(H&ME) Department, Jammu and Kashmir held detailed deliberations
with top officials of National Health Mission during the National
Program Coordination Committee (NPCC) meeting in New Delhi. The team led
by Additional Chief Secretary Vivek Bharadwaj discussed the future
plans of augmenting healthcare scenario in the Union Territory for the
Financial Years 2022-23 and 2023-24 under National Health Mission (NHM). As part of the future plan, the focus of National Health Mission (NHM)
for the next two years will be towards making Jammu & Kashmir the
first TB free region in the country, improving quality of life of
elderly population of the UT by focusing on their physical and/or mental
care and prevention and Control of Cancer cases in J&K.
1 killed, 14 injured in IED blast outside Udhampur court complexJammu 09 Mar: One person was killed and 14 were injured when a
low-intensity IED exploded outside a court complex in Udhampur district
of Jammu region on Wednesday, officials said. Director General of Police Dilbag Singh said preliminary investigation
suggests it to be an act of terrorists but we are investigating the
case. The improvised explosive device (IED) blast took place around 1 pm in
Slathia Chowkwhere fruit and vegetable vendors put up their carts.
J&K parties condemn IED blast in UdhampurSrinagar 09 Mar: Political parties on Wednesday condemned an IED
attack in Udhampur district of Jammu region in which one person was
killed and 15 others were injured. The blast took place around 1 pm near the district court complex. Unequivocally condemn the Udhampur attack in which one person lost his
life and several others were injured.
