Pak, Kashmiri Militants, PSA Detenues Among 96 Shifted To Haryana, UP, Delhi Jails From J&K
Jammu 11 Mar: With a view to break nexus of militants lodged in high security Kot Bhalwal Jail and some other prisons in Jammu and Kashmir with terror elements operating outside, the Intelligence agencies have shifted 96 detenues, majority of them terrorists, to different jails in New Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh while the process is on to shift more after identification.
Ideological Fight Against BJP, Its Policies To Be Intensified: Patil
Srinagar 11 Mar: Asserting that in run-up to the Assembly elections the Congress will intensify its ideological fight against the saffron party and its policies towards the Union Territory, AICC general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Rajni Patil today said that Jammu and Kashmir has suffered the most under BJP regime.

Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari from Mehjoor Nagar ward. Inspired by the work and policy module of the Apni Party, new
entrants shared their rationale for choosing the path of development and
prosperity for the region. Party President welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and
said that it gives him immense pleasure to see young minds joining the
party and acknowledging the cause and grail of the party.
Co-pilot killed, pilot injured after Army chopper crashes in Gurez: Army
Srinagar 11 Mar: A co-pilot of Armys Cheetah helicopter was
killed while its pilot was injured when it crashed during a routine
mission in Gujran area of Tulail in Bandipora district. A defence spokesperson in a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) ,
said that an Army Cheetah helicopter crashed in Baraub area of Gurez in
Bandipora district on Friday afternoon, while on a routine mission to
evacuate an ailing soldier from a forward post. The statement reads that the helicopter lost communication contact
with the forward post at Gujran.

Mohammad Imran has said that the election results have shown that family
raj has ruined even their own parties and dynasts like NC and PDP will

March 11 11 Mar: (KNS) Several political workers and activists from
Srinagar on Friday joined the Peoples Conference. The new entrants were
welcomed into the fold by senior party leaders Abdul Gani Vakil,
Basharat Bukhari, Youth President Sheikh Imran, Irfan Mattoo, Mohammad
Sulaiman Bhat in Srinagar today. Vakil while welcoming the new entrants in
PC fold said that it is inspiring and encouraging to see people from
all walks of life joining the PC with a resolve to strengthen it on
ground and make it a viable political alternative and a force to reckon
with.
Sarpanch shot dead in Kulgam village
Srinagar 11 Mar: Suspected militants o. Friday late evening shot dead a Sarpanch in
Adoora village of Kulgam district, officials said here. An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the Sarpanch was
shot at and injured by militants in Adoora village today evening. He said that the injured sarpanch was immediately rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
India, China Hold Talks On Ladakh
New Delhi 11 Mar: India and China today held another round of high-level military dialogue to resolve the 22-month-long standoff in certain remaining friction points in eastern Ladakh, two months after the last round of such talks failed to yield any significant outcome in resolving the row. The 15th round of Corps-Commander level talks began at around 10 am at the Chushul-Moldo border point on the Indian side of the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh, people familiar with the dialogue said.
3 Militants Killed In Two Gunfights In Kashmir
Anantnag 11 Mar: Three militants were killed in two different gunfights between government forces and militants in Srinagar city and Pulwama district of South Kashmir, police said. They have been identified as Manzoor alias Haider @ Hamzah of Pakistani and Shahid Ahmed Khan son of Mohi-ud-din Khan resident of Batpora in Pulwama and Fayaz Sheikh son of Gh Rasool Sheikh resident of Shahpora in Ganderbal. The trio was affiliated with the militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba.
