Kashmir Court Admits New Petition In Murder Involving Bitta Karate
Srinagar 31 Mar: A court in Srinagar has admitted a fresh plea seeking an investigation into the murder of Satish Tickoo. The case involves the erstwhile militant, Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bitta Karate. The plea seeks the state and status of the police case registered in the murder.
Encounter breaks out in Shopian village
Srinagar 31 Mar: An encounter broke out
between militants and security forces in Turkwangan area of Shopian
district on Thursdsy late evening, police said here. An official said that the encounter broke out in Turkwangan village
this evening, following inputs about the presence of militants in the
area. He said that police and security forces were on job, while further details will be shared accordingly.
NC leader Rahim Rather involved in deep-rooted corruption: Sandeep Mawa

Reconciliation Front chairman, Sandeep Mawa on Thursday levelled serious
allegations against former finance minister of the erstwhile state of
Jammu and Kashmir and NC leader, Abdul Rahim Rather even as the later
called him a mentally deranged man. Addressing a press conference, Mawa said that NC leader, Abdul
Rahim Rather was involved in deep-rooted corrupt practices when he was
finance minister of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that government of India had been sending lot of funds for
various projects, which would come through finance department and the
department was twice headed by Rather.
NIA announces bounty of 10 lac each against 4 LeT terrorists

Agency on Thursday announced declaration if cash reward against wanted
terrorists of LeT or TRF outfit in Jammu and Kashmir. According to a statement, the four terrorists are involved in Case
no. RC-32/2021/NIA-DLI dated 18.11.2021 registered u/s 120B, 121A &
122 of IPC and sections 13, 17, 18, 18B, 38 & 39 of UA(P) Act.
Woman who hurled petrol bomb at CRPF camp in Sopore arrested: IGP Kashmir

Kashmir zone on Thursday said that the woman, who hurled petrol bomb at a
CRPF camp in Sopore town, has been arrested. IGP told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that
the lady, who hurled petrol bomb at CRPF camp in main Chowk area
of Sopore town on March 29, was arrested today. He identified the lady as Haseena wife of Mohammad Yousuf of Sheeri
area of Baramulla and said that further investigation was going
on.
15th round of India, China talks to resolve Ladakh standoff positive and constructive: Chinese military
Beijing 31 Mar: The Chinese military on Thursday termed as
positive and constructive the recently held 15th round of talks
between the militaries of India and China to resolve the remaining
issues related to the Ladakh standoff and said Beijing was firmly
opposed to interference from a third party. China and India have agreed to properly handle the border issue through
negotiation and consultation but are firmly opposed to interference from
a third party, Senior Colonel Wu Qian, spokesperson for the Chinese
Ministry of National Defense (MND), told an online media briefing here. He was reacting to the question on reported remarks by US Assistant
Secretary of Defence for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs Ely Ratner
stating that India is facing a severe situation from the Chinese side
along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) to which the US is keeping a
close watch.
