BJP J&K on Saturday said that BJP Government led by Prime Minister
Narendra Modi is committed to restore lasting peace in the Union
Territory of J&K especially the Kashmir Valley and for this
concerted efforts are underway at various levels. In a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the senior BJP
leader said that multifaceted efforts are being taken to nail elements
inimical to peace in the Valley and sooner than later the peace will
prevail. Taking the specific case of Kashmiri Pandit employees the Prime
Ministers special package, he said that UT administration under the
stewardship of LG Manoj Sinha is on job to ensure their safety as
already several steps have been taken in this direction and LG as the
head of the UT has affirmed that his administration will do everything
possible to address the grievances of the section of employees currently
working in the Valley.

home of Slain TV artist Ambreen Bhat who was killed by militants in
Budgam on May 25. An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that LG visited home of
Slain artist of Budgam who was killed by militants in Chadoora area of
Budgam on Wednesday. He said that LG accompanied by the officials visited family of slain artist and expressed his condolences to her family.

to the allegations of PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti that Modi government was
fighting Gupakiris and defaming them. Dr Andrabi, in a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said
that police only cracks down on enemies of peace, terrorists and terror
sympathizers, but Mehbooba calls them innocents and advocates for
them. We dont need to defame Gupkaries; their own record of seven
decades of political exploitation of the people of J&K is following
them like a haunted shadow.
Pak drone loaded with magnetic bombs, grenades shot down in KathuaJammu 29 May: Ahead of the annual Amarnath pilgrimage, police on
