The Kashmir Files' director Vivek Agnihotri opens up on facing death threats

New Delhi , July 24 : Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's 'The Kashmir Files' is one of those films that touched the hearts of millions with its story, characters and picturisation. The Director of the film received a lot of appreciation for his work but there is always a darker side very few people know about. 'The Kashmir Files' released in March 2022 and crossed Rs. 340 crores at the box office. The film has a promising cast including Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Mithun Chakraborty and many more. Recently, the filmmaker claimed that he faced threats and was even questioned for the depiction of characters in the film.

Jammu , July 24 : Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) was, is and shall always remain an integral part of India, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said during the ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ event in Jammu on Sunday. "We are committed to the resolution passed in the Parliament on PoK. PoK was, is and shall always remain an integral part of India. How is it possible that Baba Amarnath (Lord Shiva's form) is in India and Maa Sharda Shakti is across the Line of Control, " the defence minister said. Rajnath Singh was referring to the Sharda Peeth, which has the ruins of a temple to the Hindu goddess Saraswati, also known as Sharda.

Anantnag , July 24 : Blaming NC and PDP for the present chaotic situation in J&K, Senior Socio Political leader Imran Amin Shah has said that both these parties have exploited the people of Jammu & Kashmir for their personal benefits and the greed for power of both of these two is a main reason for political crisis and insecurity in J&K and these parties can go to any extend to accommodate and comfort of their families . Shah said that when out of power the leadership of both these two parties show dreams with heavenly promises and when people make them they not only backtract to what they promises by even stabbed people by pushing people of state into catastrophic disaster and disempowerment. Questioning both the parties about their stand about autonomy and self rule Shah said that both these parties owe an answer to people of J&K that their hollow claims and promises have not only exposed both these parties for their falsehood but also made people realise their actual moto.

Present political contest is between truth and falsehood: Altaf Bukhari

Srinagar , July 24 : Denouncing political deceptions by the traditional political parties in J&K, Apni Party (AP) President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Sunday said that the time has come when people have to decide whether they want to continue falling prey to deceptive politics or they would choose to support the realistic politics for a better future. Bukhari was addressing a massive public rally at Nowgam in Srinagar, where the locals and the party workers gave a grand reception to the AP leader on his arrival at the venue. A procession of the highly charged crowd, while raising slogans in his favor, took their leader up to the rostrum in an open jeep, which has been an unusual practice in Srinagar in recent history.
