FIRs Filed Against Kashmir Students For Anti-India Sloganeering During Pak Match2021-10-26: The J&K Police has registered two FIRs against hostel wardens, management and students of two medical colleges in Srinagar where students created a ruckus and raised anti-India abusive slogans after Pakistan won the match against India in Dubai on Sunday. Multiple videos of Government Medical College (GMC) and Sher E Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Srinagar had gone viral in which some students could be seen chanting slogans against India and in praise of Pakistan.
Terrorists Involved In Poonch Encounter May Be From Sleeper Cell: Sources2021-10-26: Terrorists from a sleeper cell are likely to be taking part in an encounter in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, which is on its 16th day. Nine soldiers have been killed over the last two weeks in what has turned into one of the longest encounters the country has seen. On October 11, five soldiers were killed in action in Dera Ki Gali in Poonch. Three days later, another four soldiers were killed in action in Mendhar.

Day 16 Of Poonch-Rajouri Operation2021-10-26: Security forces have busted a hideout that led to the recovery of some arms and ammunition during a search operation in Bhatti Durrian forest in Poonch district, officials said. The operation in Bhatti Durrian in Mendhar, along with Surankote forest in Poonch and Thanamandi in Rajouri, continued for the 16th day on Tuesday to flush out a group of militants who attacked Army search parties on October 11 and 14, killing nine soldiers.
