NC Women's Wing Stage Protest Against Detention Of Kashmiri Students In Agra2021-11-01: Women's Wing of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference today staged a protest demonstration against the detention of Kashmiri students in Agra following the Indo-Pak Cricket match in the ongoing T20 Cricket World Cup. The protest march, which was led by State Women's Wing President Shameema Firdous, wasn't allowed to step out of the Party headquarters Nawa e Subha, Srinagar.
BJP Asks Ex-MLC From Jammu To Tender Public Apology For His 'hate Speech'2021-11-01: The disciplinary committee of Jammu and Kashmir BJP unit has asked the former MLC from Jammu, Vikram Randhawa to explain his position within 48 hours and has been asked to tender public apology ofer his 'derogatory and hate speech' against a particular community. Randhawa has been directed to explain his position within 48 hours to disciplinary committee and had also been advised to immediately issue public apology on the matter pending conclusion of disciplinary proceedings.
Special SIA Set Up For Speedy Investigation, Prosecution Of Militancy Related Cases In J&K2021-11-01: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday ordered constitution of special State Investigation Agency (SIA) for speedy and effective investigation and prosecution of militancy related cases in the Union Territory. In an order, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS), government stated that the SIA will be the Nodal Agency for coordinating with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and other Central Agencies to take such other measures as may be necessary for speedy and effective investigation and prosecution of militancy related cases.
PDP Says Centre Promoting New Fault Lines In Jammu, Kashmir2021-11-01: The People's Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday accused the Centre of fostering new fault lines between the two regions of Jammu and Kashmir to divide the people, adding that they will enhance efforts to foil these designs. Man Who Crossed Over To PaK Repatriated2021-11-01: A 35-year-old man who had inadvertently crossed over the Line of Control in Poonch district over three years ago was repatriated by the Pakistan authorities, official sources said on Monday. The Pakistan Army handed over Saif Deen, a resident of Gangrian village of the Mandi-Saujiyaan belt, to the Indian Army and civil authorities at the Poonch-Rawalakote crossing point in the district, they said.

Eye On China, Army Conducts Airborne Exercise In Ladakh2021-11-01: The Army's Shatrujeet brigade is conducting an airborne exercise along the northern borders in eastern Ladakh to validate its rapid response capabilities, sources said on Monday. Indian and Chinese militaries have been engaged in a border standoff in eastern Ladakh since May 2020 when a violent clash in the Pangong Lake area led to both the sides gradually rushing in tens of thousands of soldiers as well as heavy weaponry.
