26 Kashmiri Pandit Employees Served Notice For 'unauthorized Absence'2021-11-10: Authorities in south Kashmir's Anantnag district have issued explanation notice to 26 Kashmiri Pandit employees working in the Social Welfare Department found 'unauthorizedly' absent from their duties. An explanation notice issued to the employees by the District Social Welfare Officer Anantnag said that the office 'tried to contact you telephonically and by other media, but you did not bother to resume your duties and you failed to join back your duties'.

'Won't Leave Kashmir': Bizman After Staff Shot Dead In Terror Attack2021-11-10: A Kashmiri Pandit businessman, who is believed to be the target of a terrorist attack that left his salesman dead in Srinagar earlier this week, said he will not leave the Valley and remain here despite opposition from his family. Sandeep Mawa, who runs a dry fruit shop at Bohri Kadal, also claimed that he escaped the attack on Monday as he left his shop early due to a prior intelligence input. His salesman, Mohammad Ibrahim Khan, was shot dead instead.

Lt Gov. Tells Forces To Prevent Civilian Killings2021-11-10: In the wake of eleven civilian killings in over last one month, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has asked various security agencies to prevent any more civilian killings in Kashmir. LG Sinha said this while chairing a meeting to review the security situation of the Union Territory, where he was briefed about measures taken by the forces. According to reports, the LG left for Delhi after Tuesday's security review meeting. The LG chaired the meeting to review the security situation in the hinterland and along the borderline in the Union Territory, sources said.
